I've met online (official AoC forums) a great blogger with a great blogging site called KingConan.org. This AoC blog fansite mainly focues on views, reviews, feedback, and thoughts about the game.
If anyone here enjoys reading our member's blogs, I encourage you to visit this site daily also as it's updated everyday with a new blog with insights about the game that you may not have been aware of.
I'm a regular visitor to the site, reading and enjoying his blogs. Only hardcore fans go out of their way to create a site like this and update it everyday with blogs like he has. Congratulations to the owner on a great blogging site.
I only wish he would also post some of his blogs in AoCNation's blogging section. It's a great read for all AoC fans and I look forward to reading more in the future.

The other day I came across a post on AoC forums about a European Internet Radio show. I used to listen to "Loaded Weapon" for Guild Wars and was happy to see something similar for Age of Conan. I left a post in the thread throwing out a wild idea that the host should give AoCN a mention on the show. To my surprise, he agreed.
I tuned in from the beginning of the show. At first I had trouble connecting, but it was as simple as downloading winamp, and clicking the "Click Here to Listen" link on the hosts website. The main difference between "Loaded Weapon" from Guild Wars and this show was that this particular show plays requests and music while the Guild Wars radio show was pretty much all talk, discussing skills, classes, guilds, PvP etc.
I enjoyed listening in especially when the host mentioned this website briefly. I was also glad to see the host signing up on AoCN himself. I won't mention his username for privacy reasons unless he wants to comment on this blog himself and let everyone know his profile link.
I will continue to listen in to the show, and if anyone else is interested in checking it out the link to the website is conanradio.blogspot.com

The idea behind aocnation.net was originally designed for the game Guild Wars. I have been playing Guild Wars since it first came out back in March of 2005. I met many friends online playing the game, but I didn't know much about them outside of playing with them. It was also hard keeping in touch with them just ingame as they took breaks from playing Guild Wars.
I wanted to design a site where players could have constant contact outside of the game with friends they met online, a community specifically focusing on the game. A means of communication and keeping in touch with other players.
As I started designing the website, it became more and more obvious to me that Guild Wars was slowly dying as a game, and I was quite late with the idea considering the game was out almost 3 years at the time.
Since I stopped playing Guild Wars myself, I started focusing more and more on Age of Conan. I read as much informatin about the game as I could. I even applied for a beta key, but unfortunately to this date have not received one. I soon realized that Age of Conan would be the next greatest MMORPG and a light bulb went off in my head. Seeing as Guild Wars was slowly dying and I was late with my idea for the website, and the fact I would be focusing on Age of Conan, I quickly decided to design the website for Age of Conan instead of Guild Wars.
It was not easy creating aocnation.net Wanting to rush the site, I failed to backup my work as I progressed, and lost the site 2 times having to start all over. Learning my lesson, I backed up everytime I updated the site adding new content and features to the site.
aocnation.net has taken 3 full months to design. Since I work a regular job during the day, the only time I could work on the site was during the evenings and on weekends. Needless to say, my wife was not pleased with the amount of time I was dedicating to finish aocnatin.net just in time for the release of Age of Conan. In fact, she thought I was wasting my time working on the site. I hope for my sanity, she was wrong. You can help prove my wife wrong!
The site is new and needs a lot of content. I ask all members to be active in posting your images, videos, polls, quizzes, blogs and participating in forum discussions to get this site active and off the ground. The success of the site depends on you, the aocnatin.net member.
Help spread the word about aocnatin.net by inviting all your friends, guild mates, and players you meet online.
Thank you for joining!
